This lot includes 1 plain powder horn measuring 6 1/4" in length with a wooden plug in the butt. / 1 Plain powder horn measuring 6 3/4" in length with a wooden plug and iron loop in the butt. / 1 Plain powder horn measuring 9" in length with a wooden plug and iron staple in the butt. Domes brass tacks attach the horn to the butt, and the original wooden peg fits firmly in the spout. / 1 Geometrically decorated powder horn that appears to have the date "1818" carved in with the aid of a compass. The butt has a wooden plug, and the spout has an iron loop. CONDITION: all horns show age but are quite solid. (02-22941/BF). $300-450.
